Day 1

Day 1 of the rest of our lives with the three of us.

Heavenly Father, we praise You for Reese! God, we thank you for all the promise of this little new life. May you be the guiding light Reese needs to grow in goodness and grace, and love of You. We thank you for the love that hits us like a bolt of lightening when Reese looks into our eyes and for the reminder of how much You love us. May we always shower Reese with unconditional love from you. God, we are so grateful! Jesus, may she come to know you as Lord and Savior of her life. Jesus, please walk the road of faith and peace with her as she matures and grows into the woman she is to become. May she see the Father through you. Holy Spirit dwell in her for the rest of her life. Teach her the ways of holiness and love. Guide her into the peace that passes all understanding. Never leave her. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit of God Amen.

Praise the Lord for a healthy baby and mommy! I am so happy for you both. Reese has the cutest little mouth! Isn't it hard to believe that God could love her even more than you do? I praise Him that Reese is in such a wonderful home with a precious mom and dad.

Well, you guys did it and Julie got lucky. The baby came early!!! That's great and you all look so happy. She's beautiful.

So it's been a few days now since she was born. How's it going?

I'm impressed you didn't know if it was a boy or girl. Kyle couldn't handle that. He had to be prepared.

I love her name too. God Bless.

Hey Julie and Matt, I just found your blog and I am so glad I did. Congrats, she is beautiful!!! I'm serious, I normally don't really think that about new borns I just say it to be nice, but this time I mean it! I take it things are going well for you all. I am so glad. Julie, did you ever get your truck? :)

Things are going great for us too. Jon's a HS principal, and I am back teaching sped. We have two little girls, Lexi 3 and a half, and Gracie will be two next month.

Take care and sleep well. Julie, you may have less sleep now, but at least you can get comfortable.

God Bless you in the next chapter of your life,
Angie (Lingua) Earnhart
