Ah, but you must continue to read the article to note that the president went on to say "We will not put more pressure on the Iraqi government than it can bear."
Isn't it interesting that we also trust our God not to 'put more pressure' on us as his children than we can bear?
It is true he said that we will not put any more pressure on them. But, let's be real. That is not going to happen. Iraq is too important for our oil thirst. Patience will run out.
